Three floors up in our Victorian building, The Imperial commands the best views over the Lace Market while offering your guests a genuinely impressive event space. We've kept the original wood panelling and added rich wallpaper that works brilliantly with the star-shaped pendant lights, creating an atmosphere that feels both grand and welcoming. The Imperial has its own private bar, which makes a real difference for celebrations. Your guests can move freely between the bar area and the main space without missing any of the action. We regularly transform this room from morning conferences into evening wedding receptions, and the flexibility shows in every detail. With capacity for 100 guests, we can arrange the space however works best for your event. Theatre-style presentations work beautifully here, as do cabaret arrangements where groups can gather around tables while still having clear sightlines. For more formal occasions, we set up classroom configurations for 50, complete with our built-in presentation screens and sound system. The room sits at the junction of Victoria Street and the Lace Market, making it easy for guests arriving from Nottingham station or the tram stops nearby. Natural light pours through the large windows during daytime events, though the pendant lighting creates an equally appealing atmosphere for evening celebrations.
