The Dining Room brings together everything we love about The Hampshire Hog, with fairy lights twinkling overhead and natural light pouring through windows that frame our countryside views. This adaptable space works brilliantly for wedding receptions, birthday celebrations, and private parties of all kinds. We can seat 45 guests comfortably at our long wooden tables, or accommodate 50 standing for drinks receptions. The room has its own character, from the eclectic wall art to that vibrant patterned sofa in the corner where guests tend to gather with their drinks. Those fairy lights create exactly the right mood once evening arrives, transforming the space into something rather special. Our flexible furniture means we can arrange the room however suits your celebration best. Some couples prefer long banquet-style tables for their wedding breakfast, while birthday parties often work better with smaller group arrangements. The mix of wooden chairs and that colourful soft seating area gives different zones within the room, perfect when you want space for both dining and mingling. You'll find all the practical bits already in place, with internet access and a screen available if needed. The large windows not only flood the space with daylight but also connect your celebration to the greenery outside. During summer events, guests naturally flow between The Dining Room and our beer garden, drink in hand. Getting everyone here is simple with our location just off the A3 and plenty of parking spaces. Those coming by train can reach us with a 15-minute taxi ride from either Waterloo or Havant stations. Queen Elizabeth Country Park nearby gives your guests something to explore if they're making a day of it. The room captures that relaxed Hampshire Hog atmosphere while giving your celebration its own private space, complete with rustic touches and comfortable corners where conversations naturally happen.
