The Courtyard and Conservatory at Sanctum on the Green creates the perfect backdrop for gatherings where the boundary between indoors and outdoors simply melts away. Step through the French doors and you'll find yourself in our enclosed courtyard, where stone walls draped with climbing greenery frame an intimate space that feels wonderfully removed from the outside world. We've furnished the courtyard with black wicker seating and glass-topped tables, all sheltered beneath cream parasols that cast dappled shade across the flagstones. For seated dinners, we can accommodate 50 guests comfortably, while cocktail parties flow naturally as up to 80 people move between the courtyard and conservatory. When unpredictable weather threatens, we're ready with a marquee that transforms the space without losing its garden party atmosphere. The conservatory itself feels like bringing the outdoors in, with floor-to-ceiling windows flooding the space with natural light. We find it works beautifully for smaller groups of up to 12 who want to dine surrounded by views of our landscaped gardens. The way evening light filters through the glass creates a particularly magical setting for celebration dinners. Our kitchen team brings the same creativity here as they do to our main restaurant, adapting our gastropub menu to suit your event. Perhaps you'll start with canapés and locally-sourced gin cocktails in the courtyard before moving inside for dinner, or keep things relaxed with sharing platters served throughout the evening. The wine list we've carefully curated pairs wonderfully with everything from our famous Pea Arancini to heartier traditional dishes.
