The parkland stretches across our family farm, where morning mist rolls off the pond and Victorian cottages peek through ancient trees. We've watched countless celebrations unfold across these meadows, from festival-style gatherings with thousands of guests to intimate marquee weddings beneath our centuries-old oaks. Our Parkland & Holiday Cottages space welcomes up to 5,000 guests for standing receptions, while seated dinners work beautifully for up to 500 people. The open fields give you complete freedom with marquee placement, and we've seen some truly creative layouts over the years. Corporate groups particularly love the contrast of our rustic setting with modern conveniences like Wi-Fi, PA systems, and audio-visual equipment for presentations. Inside our restored cottages, exposed brick walls and wooden beams frame cozy living spaces where wedding parties gather around the wood-burning stove the night before celebrations. The bedrooms, with their sloped ceilings and wooden floors bathed in natural light, offer peaceful retreats for your key guests. Having Orchard Cottage and Shepherd's Cottage right here means your celebration can flow naturally from day into evening. The pond creates magical photo opportunities, especially when early morning light catches the water. We're just outside Dereham, so your guests can easily reach us while still feeling they've discovered a hidden Norfolk treasure. The parkland adapts to any vision, whether you're arranging theatre-style seating for 400, cabaret rounds for 250, or classroom layouts for corporate training days. We operate as a dry hire venue, giving you complete control over catering choices and entertainment. Many clients bring their own DJs or bands, taking advantage of our outdoor acoustics.
