The Gloucester Room sits upstairs in our Primrose Hill pub, flooded with natural light from its generous windows that look out over the neighbourhood. We've kept the original high ceilings and wooden floors from when this space was first built, adding elegant chandeliers that catch the afternoon sun beautifully. It's the kind of room that works just as well for a formal dinner as it does for a relaxed birthday celebration. Your guests will appreciate having their own private bar up here, completely separate from the main pub below. We can arrange the traditional wooden tables to seat 45 comfortably for dinner, or clear the floor for up to 75 people if you're planning drinks and canapés. The dedicated restrooms mean nobody needs to venture downstairs during your event, keeping everything contained and private. Our kitchen team brings the same care to private events as they do to our regular service. Those hand-stretched pizzas, our famous Sunday roasts, seasonal dishes made with ingredients from Cobble Lane Cured and Neal's Yard, all available for your gathering. We'll work with you to create a menu that fits your celebration, whether that's sharing platters, a formal three-course dinner, or substantial canapés to keep the conversation flowing. The room handles corporate presentations as smoothly as wedding receptions. We've installed proper AV equipment including projector and PA system, there's reliable WiFi throughout, and the acoustics work well for speeches without being overwhelming. Chalk Farm Station is a five-minute walk away, and while parking in Primrose Hill can be tricky, there are usually spaces on the surrounding streets. After three decades of hosting parties in this building, we know how to make yours run exactly as you've imagined it.
