The Lavender Barn started life as our Victorian stables, and we've carefully preserved that heritage while creating a space where up to 34 guests can celebrate together. The original oak beam still runs overhead, a reminder of the horses that once lived here, while floor-to-ceiling windows now flood the room with natural light and garden views. We've kept the conversion simple and authentic. Soft patterned wallpaper works with the warm wood tones, creating a room that feels both elegant and relaxed. Your guests can spread out for dining, gather for standing drinks, or settle into theatre-style rows, whatever suits your celebration. The wooden chairs and tables move easily into different configurations, and we'll help you plan the perfect layout. Step through the French doors and you'll find our private courtyard, a quiet spot where guests naturally drift during parties. In summer, this outdoor space becomes part of the celebration, doubling your entertaining area. Back inside, we've installed everything modern events need: Wi-Fi reaches every corner, the projector connects easily for slideshows or videos, and our PA system ensures everyone hears the speeches. Our approach stays flexible because every party is different. Some hosts bring their favourite caterers who know exactly what they want, while others work with our recommended local suppliers who understand the space perfectly. The ground-level access means everyone joins the party comfortably, with dedicated accessible facilities and parking right outside.
