Our 18th-century Summerhouse stands like a Roman temple amongst the ancient trees of Castle Park, its blue and white columns creating the perfect frame for your wedding ceremony. Just behind Colchester Castle, this architectural gem has been hosting intimate celebrations since Georgian times, and we've carefully preserved every detail while adding the modern touches couples need today. Step through the columns into an open-air pavilion where nature becomes part of your celebration. We dress the space with fresh florals that complement the surrounding greenery, and the dappled sunlight filtering through the tree canopy creates the most beautiful natural lighting for photographs. The classical architecture gives your ceremony instant gravitas, while the park setting keeps everything relaxed and romantic.
