Victorian elegance meets modern celebration in our Sceptre Room, where original wooden floors and a classic fireplace create the perfect backdrop for your next gathering. This semi-private space transforms from bright and airy during afternoon parties to intimately lit for evening celebrations, with large windows drawing natural light across the restaurant-style layout throughout the day. We've designed the Sceptre Room to accommodate various party formats, from seated dinners for 70 guests to standing receptions for up to 110 people. The room's versatility shines through its thoughtful amenities: a flatscreen TV for photo montages or presentations, Wi-Fi for sharing moments in real-time, and even a whiteboard should you need to capture birthday messages or party games. Our original Victorian architecture, complete with elegant mirrors and period details, adds character without feeling stuffy or formal. Your celebration options are wonderfully flexible here. Our in-house catering team can craft menus ranging from canapés and cocktails to full three-course dinners, or you're welcome to bring your own alcohol to keep costs manageable. Want to keep the party going? Bring in your own DJ to make use of the room's excellent acoustics, courtesy of those high ceilings we've carefully preserved since 1899. Open from noon until midnight seven days a week, we accommodate everything from afternoon tea parties to late-night birthday bashes.
