Our venue's Castellan Suite offers 360 square metres of flexible space that works brilliantly for conferences, presentations and training days. The high ceilings create an airy feel despite the absence of natural daylight, while chandeliers cast warm lighting across the rich red carpet below. We can configure this room to suit your specific needs. For large presentations, we arrange theatre-style seating for up to 400 delegates. Need classroom setup for training? We accommodate 200 participants with tables. Board meetings work perfectly here too, with our U-shape arrangement seating 60 or boardroom style for 50. The square layout means no pillars interrupt sightlines, so every attendee enjoys clear views of your presentation. The suite includes its own dedicated foyer, complete with an external entrance that allows your guests to arrive directly without navigating through the main hotel. This private entrance proves particularly useful when hosting larger corporate events. Your delegates can network comfortably in the foyer before sessions begin, and our bar within the suite means refreshment breaks happen seamlessly without anyone missing important content. We've equipped the space with AV technology and Wi-Fi throughout, supporting whatever presentation format you prefer. Wall sconces supplement the overhead lighting, ensuring your materials display clearly. The artwork along the walls adds visual interest without overwhelming the professional atmosphere. For events requiring breakout sessions, we divide the Castellan into two separate sections. This flexibility means morning plenaries can transition smoothly into afternoon workshops, all within the same space. Air conditioning maintains comfortable temperatures regardless of attendance numbers. Being just three minutes' walk from Newcastle International Airport terminal makes us exceptionally convenient for delegates flying in. On-site parking costs £5 per 24-hour period, removing transport concerns for those driving.
