Our venue's QUE 101 offers a purpose-built lecture theatre that comfortably seats 140 delegates in tiered rows, giving everyone an unobstructed view of your presentation. You'll find this space on the first floor of the Lord Ashcroft Building, where the fixed seating arrangement creates a focused environment perfect for conferences, seminars and training sessions. The room comes fully equipped with everything you need for professional presentations. We've installed a large projection screen at the front, complemented by a lectern and comprehensive audio-visual setup including projector, speakers and microphones. The adjustable lighting system, with strategically positioned spotlights, helps maintain attention during longer sessions while ensuring presenters are clearly visible. What makes QUE 101 particularly practical is the adjacent mezzanine level, where many of our clients set up registration desks, exhibitor displays or refreshment stations. This additional space keeps the main theatre uncluttered while providing convenient access for networking breaks. Our in-house catering team can arrange refreshments here, with halal options available to accommodate all dietary requirements. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Chelmsford train station just a short walk away and ample free parking available on campus. The building has full wheelchair accessibility throughout, including lift access to the first floor. While the theatre doesn't have windows, the professional lighting setup creates a bright, welcoming atmosphere that keeps attendees alert and engaged.
