The Ramillies Room combines the intimacy of a private boardroom with views that remind you why our venue has inspired visitors for centuries. Through the large arched window, you'll work overlooking the Duke's private Italian Garden, where morning light filters through carefully manicured hedges and afternoon shadows play across Renaissance-inspired pathways. We've painted the walls in deep teal, a colour that complements both the garden views and the carefully chosen artwork adorning the room. The space seats 12 comfortably around our boardroom table, where we've already arranged notepads, pens and water for your arrival. The cream upholstered chairs were selected for all-day comfort, because we know important discussions can't be rushed. High ceilings give the room a sense of openness despite its intimate scale, while original architectural details remind you of the palace's three-hundred-year history. We've installed a flatscreen TV and projector for presentations, and you'll find both a whiteboard and flipchart ready for brainstorming sessions. The WiFi connects seamlessly throughout, and our air conditioning keeps the temperature comfortable regardless of the season outside. Many clients use the Ramillies Room for board meetings, though we've also hosted strategy sessions, partnership negotiations and executive briefings here. When groups need breakout spaces, we can open up the adjoining Oudenarde or Malplaquet Rooms, creating a suite of syndicate areas connected by the palace's original corridors. Getting here couldn't be simpler. We're in Woodstock, just eight miles from Oxford, with free parking available on site. Our in-house catering team can arrange anything from working lunches to evening receptions, working with you to create menus that suit your schedule and preferences.
