The Mansion House: Sapsed & Hartoak rooms bring together the character of an 18th-century building with everything you need for productive meetings. These two interconnecting spaces feature original high ceilings with period chandeliers, while contemporary artwork on the walls creates an interesting contrast between old and new. We can arrange the rooms to seat up to 50 people theatre-style, with our comfortable blue chairs already in place. For boardroom meetings, we set up tables for the same number, and if you're planning a standing reception, the space works well for 60 guests. The ornate fireplace serves as a natural focal point, particularly useful when you need to draw attention during presentations. Natural light pours through the large windows throughout the day, though we have full blackout options when you need to use the projector and screen we've installed. For workshops or training sessions, we bring in flipcharts and can reconfigure the furniture to suit group work or breakout discussions. Our venue sits within the college grounds with good transport connections nearby. The historic mansion house setting often surprises first-time visitors who expect a typical college environment. Instead, they find rooms that feel more like a country house, complete with period features that photograph particularly well for corporate events. Our on-site catering team handles everything from morning coffee and biscuits through to full hot banquets, all prepared in our college kitchens.
