About Bermondsey Distillery
Gin-making happens right here in our railway arch on Stanworth Street, where copper stills work their magic transforming botanicals into Jensen's distinctive spirits. We've transformed this historic Bermondsey space into something special - the industrial bones of the arch create an atmosphere you won't find in typical party venues, with exposed brickwork and the gleaming copper of our distilling equipment setting the scene. Our main space works brilliantly for parties of different sizes. We can accommodate 40 of your guests for standing receptions or arrange seating for 30 if you prefer a sit-down format. The space flows naturally between the working distillery area and our event zones, so your guests get a real sense of the craft that goes into every bottle we produce. For parties here, we provide Wi-Fi throughout, plus a projector and PA system for speeches, presentations, or background music. While we don't have an in-house kitchen, you're welcome to bring in your preferred caterers - we've seen everything from canapé receptions to full dinner parties work beautifully in the space. Weekend gin tastings are particularly popular for birthday celebrations and hen parties. We run distillery tours for groups between 10 and 20 people, where your guests learn about our production process before sampling our range. These sessions need advance booking but add something genuinely different to any celebration. Getting here couldn't be easier - we're a short walk from both Bermondsey and London Bridge stations. The area itself has become quite the destination, with Borough Market nearby and plenty of restaurants for pre or post-party dining. Our railway arch location in what was once 'London's Larder' gives your event a connection to the area's trading heritage while celebrating in a thoroughly modern gin distillery.
