About Bermondsey Social Club
The railway arch rumbles overhead as another train passes, and we love how it adds to the character of Bermondsey Social Club. Our space has become a proper South East London institution for parties that need something different from your typical venue. We've carved out three distinct areas here. The main indoor space fits 120 people comfortably under the curved brick arches, where the industrial architecture meets warm lighting and plenty of greenery. Our heated indoor courtyard creates this brilliant intimate pocket for smaller groups, while our outdoor area seats 40 and gives your guests a proper breather from the dance floor. We call it our secret garden, though it's not much of a secret anymore. The sound system we run here is serious kit - proper club-spec PA that handles everything from live bands to DJs who know their stuff. Our lighting rig transforms the arches into whatever mood you're after, whether that's a proper rave atmosphere or something more laid-back for corporate drinks. Having that 4am license seven days a week means we can keep things going properly late when you need to. Our hire packages sort everything out for you. We provide our experienced bar staff who know how to keep drinks flowing, security team to keep things smooth, and full DJ equipment if you're bringing your own music. The whole setup works brilliantly for private parties, birthday bashes, weddings where people actually want to dance, club nights, live music gigs, corporate events that don't feel corporate, film screenings, and product launches. Getting here is dead easy - we're a 10-minute walk from Bermondsey tube station and Surrey Quays overground. The rustic, upcycled décor throughout gives the whole place this raw but welcoming feel that photographs brilliantly and more importantly, creates the right atmosphere for a proper good night.
