The grand Victorian staircase at Bessingham Manor makes quite the impression when your party arrives. We've hosted countless celebrations here in North Norfolk, and watching guests' faces light up as they explore our 10 bedrooms across this restored estate never gets old. Our manor sits on 4.5 acres of countryside, giving your group complete privacy for whatever festivities you have planned. We can sleep up to 29 people comfortably, with most bedrooms offering their own en-suite facilities. The high ceilings and marble fireplaces throughout create that special atmosphere - ornate chandeliers cast warm light across original Victorian features that we've carefully maintained. The kitchen becomes party central for many groups. We've equipped it with both an Aga and electric range cooker, so multiple cooks can work their magic simultaneously. When it's time to gather everyone together, our dining room seats 30 around the table. The south-facing drawing room floods with natural light during daytime celebrations, transforming into an intimate space for evening drinks and conversation. Outside, mature trees frame the patio where we've set up outdoor seating and a gas-fired BBQ. Groups often spill out here for alfresco dining or just to enjoy the Norfolk air. The untouched grasslands and woodlands surrounding the property mean you won't see or hear neighbors - it's just your party and the countryside. We've welcomed large family reunions spanning multiple generations, milestone birthday weekends, and corporate teams looking to combine meetings with relaxation. The mix of Victorian and Edwardian architecture with modern amenities means everyone finds their comfortable spot, whether that's gathering around the fireplace or spreading out across the grounds for outdoor activities.
