About Bridal Barn
Our 16th-century sandstone barn sits at the end of a mile-long drive through ancient woodland, where 100 acres of Shropshire countryside become your private celebration space for three full days. We've watched countless couples transform this historic barn with its vaulted oak beams and original flagstone floors into their dream wedding venue, each one bringing their own vision to life. The barn itself welcomes up to 150 seated guests beneath those centuries-old beams, but we know the magic often happens in the spaces between. Our woodland viewing point has become a favorite spot for ceremonies - there's something about exchanging vows surrounded by towering trees that stays with people. Others prefer the courtyard tipi setup or choose to say "I do" in our rustic hay barn, each space offering its own character. We've set up a dedicated bridal lounge where wedding parties can prepare for the day ahead, complete with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating. When it comes to food, we let you bring in your own caterers - we've seen everything from traditional wedding breakfasts to wood-fired pizza trucks pulling into our courtyard. Our bar stays well-stocked throughout your celebration, and when evening falls, guests naturally gather around our fire pits beneath the illuminated trees. For those wanting to extend their stay, our shepherd's hut provides a cozy retreat for the night. We've found that having three days means no rushed setup or teardown - decorations can go up at a leisurely pace, and the morning after allows for a relaxed breakfast with family before heading home. From festival-style celebrations to intimate bohemian gatherings, we've seen our barn adapt to every kind of party imaginable. Each wedding brings new stories to these old stones.
