About Expanse Bridlington
Three generations of our family have welcomed guests to The Expanse Hotel since we first opened our doors in 1937, right here on Bridlington's peaceful North Bay seafront. From our windows, you'll catch sight of Flamborough Head stretching into the distance while the bay spreads out before you - it's the kind of view that makes people stop mid-conversation. We've kept the character of the original building while making sure everything works perfectly for today's celebrations. Our Seymours Suite has become the heart of countless parties over the years, with space for up to 200 guests, its own bar, and a proper wooden dance floor that's seen everything from first dances to 90th birthday waltzes. For smaller gatherings, the Cooper Lounge creates that intimate feel where everyone can chat comfortably, while our main restaurant lets your guests dine with those sea views as their backdrop. The Marine Bar has picked up awards for our traditional cask ales and the homemade dishes our kitchen team prepares daily. Speaking of food, Wilky's Restaurant serves everything from hearty full English breakfasts to evening meals that showcase local ingredients. We've got 48 rooms spread throughout the hotel, each with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and proper tea and coffee facilities - because we know the little comforts matter when you're staying overnight after a celebration. Getting here couldn't be easier with free parking on-site and Bridlington station just minutes away. We're close enough to the town centre that your guests can explore the harbour and golden beaches, but far enough that you'll have that sense of occasion a special event deserves.
