We're the Threiplands, and this has been our ancestral home for generations, though these days we share it with couples and families looking for somewhere truly special to celebrate. Our Long Gallery catches everyone by surprise - it's been called "the prettiest room in Scotland," and when afternoon light streams through the windows, we understand why. For smaller gatherings, this intimate space creates magic. But if you're planning something bigger, our modern pavilion opens up to seat 300 guests comfortably, with everything set up for dining and dancing. The gardens tell their own stories. You'll spot Alice peering from behind a topiary rabbit, statues emerging from hedgerows, and literary figures scattered throughout our surrealist landscape. Children love discovering these characters while adults appreciate the artistry that's evolved over centuries. We've converted our old cottages and luxury potting sheds into proper accommodations, sleeping up to 70 guests across the estate. The games room stays busy on rainy afternoons, while our heated swimming pool and tennis court keep everyone entertained between celebrations. Everything's self-catering, so you can make yourselves completely at home. Whether you're planning an outdoor ceremony among the topiary or a grand ball in the pavilion, we've hosted them all.
