The breakfast rush at Franco's feels different from anywhere else on Jermyn Street - we've been serving proper English breakfasts alongside Italian espresso since 1946, making us one of London's first Italian restaurants. Our St James's location puts us right among the private clubs, art galleries, and boutiques that give this neighborhood its character. Throughout the day, our restaurant transforms naturally. Mornings bring locals grabbing breakfast before work, lunch sees the dining room buzzing with business conversations, and by evening, we've dimmed the lights for a more intimate dinner atmosphere. Our kitchen team makes everything from scratch - the pasta is rolled fresh daily, and we bake our own bread each morning. Fish arrives from the market, meat comes from trusted suppliers, and we've developed solid vegan and gluten-free dishes that don't feel like afterthoughts. When the weather cooperates, our heated terrace fills quickly. Inside, we've created three distinct private spaces for parties and events. The Wine Cellar works beautifully for groups up to 16 - the stone walls and vintage bottles create an atmosphere that feels both special and relaxed. Our Mirror Room handles up to 30 guests comfortably, while the entire lower ground floor opens up for parties of 50. We can also close the whole restaurant for exclusive events. Business presentations run smoothly here with our AV setup, birthday parties spill naturally between the bar and dining areas, and cocktail receptions flow easily through our spaces. Our bar team knows their way around both classic Italian aperitifs and contemporary cocktails, and we maintain a carefully chosen cigar selection for those who appreciate them. After 78 years on Jermyn Street, we've learned that good hospitality means reading the room - whether someone needs a quick breakfast or a three-hour celebration dinner.
