The River Eden curves past our grounds here at The Garden at Eden, where the Lake District fells rise up in the distance and create that perfect backdrop everyone remembers from their celebrations. We've hosted everything from intimate gatherings of 50 to grand parties of 500 guests in our marquee, which sits right beside the water garden that looks magical when we light it up after dark. Our Garden Room has become the heart of many celebrations - those floor-to-ceiling windows mean you're surrounded by the Cumbrian countryside while staying warm and dry, no matter what the weather decides to do. The marquee itself transforms beautifully for each event. We provide the dance floor, stage, tableware and luxury facilities, but you bring the personal touches that make it yours. Being licensed for civil ceremonies means couples can say their vows right here overlooking the fells, then move straight into their reception without anyone having to travel. We only book one wedding each weekend, so your party gets our complete attention from setup through to the last dance. Our coordination service comes as standard - we handle the logistics while you focus on celebrating. The catering team works with local suppliers across Cumbria, whether you're planning a formal wedding breakfast, afternoon tea on the lawn, or a hog roast by the pond. The fountain in our floodlit garden creates a stunning photo opportunity, especially as the sun sets behind the hills.
