Three centuries of oak beams frame the celebrations we host here at Gildings Barns. Our interconnecting barns sit across 20 acres of Surrey Hills countryside near Newdigate, where mature woodlands meet open fields just six miles south of Dorking. We've carefully preserved each hand-built timber while creating spaces that work beautifully for modern parties and events. The main barn opens up to accommodate 130 guests, with original features throughout that create natural conversation points. Our smaller Granary garden provides a more intimate setting, particularly popular for outdoor ceremonies when the weather cooperates. Working with countless celebration planners over the years, we've learned what makes events run smoothly. That's why we include practical touches like our built-in PA system for speeches and music, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the barns, and plenty of secure parking on-site.
