We're Hooton Pagnell Hall, a Grade II* listed estate in South Yorkshire, and we open our doors exclusively to couples who want their celebration to feel like a private house party in a piece of living history. The restored 13th-century Tithe Barn has become our most photographed space - those light-stone walls and centuries-old oak beams create something special when filled with up to 120 of your favorite people. For smaller gatherings, we guide couples toward the Main Hall, where antique furnishings and original architectural features make 30 guests feel like they've stepped into their own period drama. Summer ceremonies often happen in our garden's Summer House, surrounded by the kind of manicured lawns that take our groundskeepers years to perfect. We've turned the estate's nine bedrooms into individual retreats, each decorated differently but all featuring the high-quality touches you'd expect in a historic house of this caliber. Your guests can wake up where they celebrated, wandering down for breakfast without the usual hotel lobby awkwardness. Our Yorkshire caterer works from the estate kitchens, creating everything from formal three-course dinners to rustic sharing boards that get passed around long tables.
