The InterContinental New York Barclay has been welcoming guests since 1926, and we take pride in maintaining the original Jazz Era character while providing everything modern events need. Our 20,000 square feet of event space gives you plenty of options, whether you're planning a board meeting for 20 or a wedding reception for 400. Our Grand Ballroom spans 4,954 square feet and features original Chinoiserie-style upholstery that creates an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else in Midtown. The Empire Ballroom, at 3,546 square feet, showcases authentic 1920s crown molding and mirrors that catch the light beautifully during evening events. For smaller gatherings, we have the Vanderbilt Boardroom and Barclay Salon, both flooded with natural light through tall windows overlooking the city. We handle corporate meetings, weddings, social celebrations, and productions regularly, so our team knows exactly what each type of event requires. Our in-house catering team prepares everything from coffee breaks to five-course dinners, and we have all the audio-visual equipment you'll need already on-site. The event planning team works with you from initial booking through the last guest's departure. Beyond the event spaces, we offer a 24-hour fitness center for early-rising executives, a fully equipped business center, and concierge services to help with any special requests. We're also one of the few hotels in the area that welcomes pets, so out-of-town guests can bring their companions.
