Since 1996, Jakobs Cafe has been bringing together the flavors of Armenia and Persia right here on Gloucester Road. Our restaurant transforms from a bustling daytime café into South Kensington's favorite spot for celebrations once the sun sets. Step into our main dining room and you'll find yourself surrounded by warm terracotta walls and rustic wooden furnishings that create an atmosphere perfect for everything from birthday dinners to engagement parties. We can comfortably seat 40 guests for sit-down meals, or accommodate up to 60 people for standing receptions. The space flows naturally into our bar area, where guests often gather for welcome drinks before settling in for the evening. Our private backroom conservatory is where many of our most memorable parties happen. With its glass ceiling and garden views, it's become a favorite for live music events and DJ sets. We regularly host Armenian dance evenings where the music spills out into the night, plus blues sessions, jazz nights, Greek celebrations, and salsa parties that keep our dance floor busy until closing. Our head chef crafts menus that blend our signature Armenian-Persian dishes with British favorites.
