From the moment you arrive at Kingston Country Courtyard, the 16th-century Purbeck stone barn commands attention against sweeping views that stretch from Corfe Castle to the Isle of Wight. We've been hosting celebrations here in the Dorset countryside for years, and every event feels special in this setting. Our barn accommodates up to 130 guests during the day and 175 for evening receptions, with those original exposed beams and stone walls creating an atmosphere you won't find in modern venues. We're licensed for civil ceremonies, so you can exchange vows in the barn itself, out in our forest, within the cottage garden, or in the courtyard - each spot offers something different depending on the season and your vision. The Sawmill Restaurant forms the heart of our hospitality, open from 8 am to 11 pm daily. Our chefs work with local suppliers to create everything from formal three-course wedding breakfasts to relaxed BBQs and hog roasts. We've found that couples particularly love how we adapt menus to their preferences while showcasing Dorset's incredible produce with an international twist. With 26 en suite bedrooms spread across the property, we can accommodate up to 60 overnight guests. Each room combines the building's historical character with modern comforts, including complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout. We welcome pets too, and our facilities are fully accessible. Our gardens and woodlands provide natural photo opportunities, while our wedding coordinators handle the logistics so you can focus on your guests.
