At Liquor Studio on 156a Briggate, we transformed what Yorkshire knew about spirits and meeting spaces. Our bright dual-room setup gave teams the perfect balance - a proper conference room where 20 people could gather around our large table, plus an adjoining space with its own bar for when the formal stuff wrapped up. We built our reputation as Yorkshire's first Spirit School, which meant your meetings came with possibilities others couldn't match. Picture this: morning strategy session with hot drinks and biscuits flowing, then straight into a gin creation class or cocktail masterclass led by our mixologists. The full AV setup in the meeting room handled whatever presentations you threw at it, while the breakout area let conversations continue more casually. Being right on Briggate put us just minutes from transport links and city center parking - practical details that mattered when you're organizing for a group. We worked with each booking to create something that fit, whether that meant arranging lunch catering between sessions or timing a spiced rum workshop perfectly for when energy levels needed lifting. Our space worked equally well for corporate planning days, team celebrations, or client entertainment. The spirit experiences we offered - from tastings to hands-on creation classes - gave meetings a memorable twist without feeling forced. Groups often told us they'd never had such engaged participation in an away day. After five successful years bringing people together over meetings and masterclasses, we closed our doors at the end of May 2025.
