Standing proud on Ryde's Esplanade, we welcome you to Ryde Castle Hotel, a Tudor-style building that Henry VIII originally built to defend against Spanish invasion. Today, our historic walls host weddings and meetings rather than military defenses, with banquet facilities that comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests. We've carefully refurbished all 18 en-suite bedrooms, preserving the building's character while adding the conveniences you expect. Some rooms feature four-poster beds, and those facing the water offer spectacular views across the Solent – you can watch the ferries come and go while enjoying your morning coffee. Every room includes flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Our restaurant and bar open onto a patio where you can dine with the sea breeze and watch the marina activity below.
