Sports fans pack our corner spot where Old Street meets Shoreditch High Street every match day, drawn by eight HD screens spread across two floors. We've positioned five TVs on the ground floor and three downstairs in the basement, so whether it's Premier League football, Six Nations rugby, Wimbledon tennis, or the Monaco Grand Prix, everyone gets a perfect view. When the final whistle blows, The Cornershop Bar shifts gears completely. Our DJs take over, transforming the space into a proper dance floor where local crowds and visitors mix until late. The basement particularly comes alive after dark, with the music ranging from house classics to current chart hits. Our kitchen serves up proper pub food with a modern twist. Think loaded burgers with all the trimmings, crispy fish and chips, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan options that actually taste good. During weekday Happy Hour from 3pm to 7pm, we do 2-for-1 cocktails and beer specials – perfect timing for after-work drinks before the evening matches start. We regularly host private parties and corporate events, taking advantage of our flexible layout across two floors. The ground floor works brilliantly for more relaxed gatherings where people can chat over drinks, while the basement setup suits livelier celebrations. Comedy nights and live music sessions also feature on our calendar, adding variety beyond the sports schedule.
