Our two private spaces each bring their own character to events. The Heron Suite conservatory floods with natural light and canal views, comfortably hosting up to 36 guests who often spend half their time admiring the water. The Snug lives up to its name - 35 of your closest friends can gather around the crackling fire in winter or spill out onto our courtyard when the weather warms up. We're particularly proud of our kitchen's flexibility for party menus. Whether your group wants to share platters of our 30-day aged ribeye or prefer individual plates of pan-fried seabass, our chefs work with you to create the right spread. The pea and asparagus risotto has become a surprise hit at birthday parties, and our bartenders love crafting signature cocktails for special occasions. The real magic happens when everything comes together - live musicians performing from 3-7pm on Sundays, guests moving between our heated garden spaces and cozy indoor areas, and the canal providing that constant, calming presence. We've hosted everything from 18th birthdays to golden anniversaries, and each party finds its own rhythm here. Getting to us couldn't be easier - we're just a short walk from Hemel Hempstead railway station.
