The glass dome above our Dining Commons catches everyone's attention first—sunlight streams through during afternoon meetings while the Empire State Building towers just outside the windows. We're The Graduate Center at The City University of New York, and our Fifth Avenue building has been hosting everything from corporate conferences to film shoots since becoming a Manhattan landmark. Our most requested space seats up to 300 guests beneath that spectacular dome. Corporate groups love how the natural light energizes their meetings, while evening party planners appreciate the way city lights transform the room after dark. Down the hall, the Proshansky Auditorium provides theater-style seating for 389 attendees, complete with professional sound and projection systems we've recently upgraded. For more intimate gatherings, we open up the Elebash Recital Hall and Segal Theatre—both designed with performances in mind but equally suited for presentations or screenings. Each room connects to our high-speed Wi-Fi network, and we've installed livestreaming equipment throughout the building so remote participants never miss a moment. Our events team handles the details that matter. We'll coordinate with our on-site catering to serve anything from morning coffee service at the 365 Café and Bar to full dinner receptions in the Dining Commons.
