About The Grand Central Brighton
The Grand Central Brighton knows how to throw a party. Our Victorian pub sits right by Brighton Station, and we've been hosting celebrations in these rooms since the railway first arrived. The Nightingale Room is where most of our parties happen - it's our art deco function space complete with its own private bar, proper stage lighting, and a PA system that'll handle anything from wedding speeches to full bands. We're particularly proud of our roof terrace, which catches the afternoon sun perfectly and gives you views across the Brighton rooftops. Inside, the original period features - ornate ceilings, rich wood paneling, and those gorgeous stained glass windows - create an atmosphere you won't find in modern venues. The warm lighting and deep burgundy walls make everyone look good in photos, which our wedding parties especially appreciate. Our kitchen serves proper British food with a modern twist, and behind the bar you'll find everything from local cask ales to craft beers, plus one of Brighton's best gin collections. We've got over 50 varieties if you're counting. The main bar stays lively with Sky TV and TNT Sports for match days, but our function spaces offer privacy when you need it. We host all sorts of celebrations here - 21st birthdays in the Nightingale Room, corporate Christmas parties spread across multiple floors, wedding receptions that spill onto the terrace, and anniversary dinners in our more intimate spaces. Dogs are welcome too, so your four-legged friends can join the party. Being steps from Brighton Station means your guests can easily get here and home again.
