About The Old Coffee Tavern
The Old Coffee Tavern sits right between St. Mary's Church and the historic square, and we've been welcoming guests into our timber-beamed rooms for celebrations both big and small. Our Garden Room opens directly onto a walled courtyard where fairy lights twinkle above weathered stone walls - it's where most birthday parties end up spilling out to when the weather cooperates. We can seat 22 of your guests comfortably around our wooden tables, or fit up to 40 people if you're planning more of a standing reception. The robata grill sends wonderful aromas through the dining room, and we cook everything from locally-sourced meats to seasonal vegetables over the open flames. Our bar stocks proper Warwickshire ales alongside craft beers from breweries just down the road. The courtyard really comes into its own during warmer months. Those two large doors from the Garden Room fold right back, creating one flowing space between inside and out. We've hosted everything from 50th birthday dinners to small wedding receptions here, and the combination of exposed beams inside and greenery outside seems to work for just about any celebration. Our ten bedrooms upstairs mean your guests can stay the night if they want to properly enjoy themselves without worrying about getting home. Each room has its own bathroom, and we've kept the original features like the slanted ceilings and old floorboards. The semi-private Garden Room gives your party its own space while still feeling connected to the gentle buzz of the tavern. Whether you're planning a milestone birthday, a reunion dinner, or drinks to celebrate good news, we'll help you make the most of our historic rooms and sunny courtyard.
