Twenty-five acres of Devon countryside become yours for 48 hours when you book our entire venue. From the moment you arrive at our 17th-century Threshing Barn, you have exclusive run of the property, your celebration unfolding across three interconnected spaces that work beautifully together or independently. The restored barn forms the heart of your event, its original cob and lime walls and wooden beams creating warmth that modern venues simply can't replicate. We've kept the character intact while ensuring comfort for up to 250 guests, whether seated at long banquet tables or mingling during drinks receptions. Soft drapery and hanging lanterns transform the space as daylight fades, while large windows frame views across our gardens and woodlands. Our Glass Link connects the barn to the Rustic Lean-To, giving you natural flow between spaces, perhaps dinner in one area and dancing in another. The south-facing terrace catches afternoon sun perfectly, an ideal spot for welcome drinks overlooking the valley and River Yeo below. For outdoor ceremonies or larger gatherings, our expansive lawn accommodates marquees or tipi setups, surrounded by mature trees and naturalistic planting. What sets us apart is the time we give you. With accommodation on-site including our contemporary Long Barn, scattered yurts, and a tucked-away shepherd's hut, your guests can properly settle in. No rushing to leave at midnight, no stress about transport. Our PA system, full kitchen facilities, and ample parking are all included, while our biomass heating and solar panels keep everything running sustainably. Sixteen miles from Exeter, between Exmoor and Dartmoor, we're accessible yet feel wonderfully remote. Licensed for civil ceremonies in our walled garden or barn, with wheelchair access throughout and no noise restrictions, we provide the canvas for celebrations done your way.
