The Snug strikes that perfect balance between private party space and proper pub atmosphere, tucked away just enough to feel special while keeping you connected to the buzz of our main bar. We've watched countless birthday celebrations unfold here, from surprise parties that had everyone crammed into the booths waiting to shout, to those long, lazy Sunday afternoon gatherings that drift into evening. The exposed brick walls tell their own stories, covered in an ever-changing collection of artwork and vintage mirrors we've picked up over the years. Our leather booth seating wraps around one side, perfect for those groups who want to settle in properly, while the poser tables give others space to move about and mingle. We can fit 26 of you seated comfortably, or squeeze in 35 if you're happy standing with drinks in hand. During the day, light pours in from Exmouth Market, catching the glassware behind the bar and warming up the wooden floors. Come evening, our pendant lights cast just the right glow, soft enough for conversation but bright enough that you can still read the cocktail menu. The best bit? You're right next to our main bar, so nobody has to trek downstairs when glasses run empty. Our bartenders know their stuff too, whether you're after a proper pint, something from our natural wine selection, or one of those cocktails that takes a bit of theatre to make. Farringdon Station sits just around the corner, making it dead easy for everyone to get here. We've hosted everything in The Snug from 40th birthdays to engagement drinks, team celebrations to reunion dinners. The space just works, giving you enough privacy to feel like it's yours for the night while keeping that authentic pub energy flowing through.
