Raise a glass to 147 years of good times at The Clerkenwell Tavern, where we've been bringing people together on the corner of Exmouth Market since 1876. Our Victorian pub has watched Farringdon transform around us, but we've kept the same welcoming spirit that makes every party feel like a proper celebration. We're particularly proud of our Basement Bar - it's where the real magic happens after dark. With its own bespoke cocktail bar, proper dancefloor, and fully kitted DJ booth, we can host 80 of your friends standing or seat 54 for a more relaxed affair. Friday and Saturday nights? We'll keep the music going until 3am with our late license, so your party doesn't have to end when everywhere else is closing. Upstairs, The Snug works brilliantly for those who want something more intimate. We've arranged booth seating and poser tables for 35 standing guests or 26 seated, and you're right next to our main bar so nobody misses out on drinks. Want to take over the whole top floor? Book The Snug and Main Bar together and we'll accommodate 100 standing or 66 seated across both spaces, with access to our terrace when the weather cooperates. Our kitchen sources everything from local suppliers, changing the menu with the seasons. Yes, we do those famous salt beef sandwiches and Reubens, but we've also got plenty more to keep your guests happy. Behind the bar, we pour craft beers, natural wines, and proper cocktails - none of that pre-mixed nonsense. Birthday parties, work events, leaving dos, engagement celebrations - we've hosted them all. Our team knows how to keep things running smoothly while you focus on enjoying yourself.
