The Green Room invites you into a world of deep emerald walls and botanical prints, where twelve of your favourite people can gather around our gleaming mahogany table for the kind of dinner party that runs well past midnight. We've kept the original Georgian proportions intact, so the ceiling soars above while natural light pours through tall windows overlooking the quiet alley that connects us to the bustle of Charing Cross. Our chef sends up plates from the kitchen below, timing each course to the rhythm of your evening. The room works particularly well for celebration dinners where conversation flows as freely as the wine, though we've also hosted everything from book launches to small wedding parties here. The wallpaper, a William Morris-inspired design in sage and gold, sets a tone that's both grand and comfortable, while our collection of vintage mirrors and contemporary art pieces gives your guests plenty to discuss between courses. For standing receptions, we can welcome up to 20 guests, transforming the space into an intimate cocktail venue where people naturally cluster in small groups, wine glasses in hand. The antique sideboard becomes your bar for the evening, stocked with whatever you fancy from our cellar. During winter, we bring in extra candles to complement the chandeliers, creating pools of warm light that make everyone look their best. The Green Room sits just two minutes' walk from Charing Cross Station, with Trafalgar Square practically on our doorstep, yet once you're inside, the city noise fades completely. We prepare everything fresh in our kitchen, focusing on British ingredients with those little continental touches our members have come to expect. The space captures that particular magic of a proper London dinner party, where formality and warmth exist in perfect balance.
