Our Georgian townhouse has been bringing together London's creative minds since 1982, and after our 2020 relaunch, we've become the gathering spot for around 1,300 members from the arts, literary, journalistic, and legal worlds. Five floors of character-filled rooms await your private party, each with its own personality shaped by original period features and the countless conversations that have unfolded here. The Green Room works beautifully for dinner parties of up to 12, where your guests can settle in around our polished table while the kitchen sends up plates of British classics with continental touches. For drinks receptions and more relaxed gatherings, the Chandos Lounge welcomes up to 40 standing guests. During winter months, we light the open fires in our dining rooms, creating that particular warmth you only get from real flames and good company. Come summer, throw open the windows and let the Trafalgar Square energy drift in while you celebrate in our bright, high-ceilinged spaces. We serve food from noon until late because we know theatre crowds and creative types don't keep regular hours. Our kitchen team prepares everything fresh daily, focusing on seasonal British ingredients with occasional European flourishes that reflect our members' well-travelled tastes. The members' bar stays open as long as you need it, stocked with everything from local craft ales to rare single malts. What makes Brydges Place Club special for private parties is the feeling that you've borrowed a friend's townhouse for the evening. We're tucked away from the tourist crowds, yet you're minutes from major transport links when the night winds down. It's the kind of venue where formal toasts naturally give way to animated discussions by the fireplace.
