Purple suede wraps around marble-topped tables while Christian Lacroix wallpaper transforms every corner into an art piece. We designed The Box at KONG for groups who appreciate the finer details, from our Art Deco lighting fixtures to the gold accents that catch the light just right. Twenty guests can gather here for standing receptions, or sixteen for seated dinners where conversation flows as smoothly as our craft beer selection. The room changes character throughout the day. Morning light pours through windows overlooking Royal Exchange Square, illuminating the rich textures and botanical touches we've carefully placed throughout. By evening, the warm glow from our statement lighting creates an atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and relaxed, perfect for milestone celebrations or those impromptu gatherings that turn into the best nights. We've equipped The Box with a PA system that handles everything from background jazz during dinner to toasts that everyone needs to hear. The space connects seamlessly to our main bar, so your group can start with cocktails there before retreating to your private sanctuary. Our bartenders know exactly which bottles from our world wine list pair with which moments, and they're always happy to suggest something unexpected. The plush seating encourages guests to settle in for the evening rather than rushing off. We've hosted everything here from 40th birthday dinners where old friends reconnect to product launches where brands want their guests to feel special rather than marketed to. The marble tables work equally well for champagne flutes or laptop presentations, though we find most groups prefer the former. Just steps from Queen Street Station and Buchanan Street, getting here couldn't be simpler. Our kitchen serves the same pan-Asian menu available throughout KONG, adapted perfectly for private dining in The Box.

Kong was a great venue for our office Christmas party in Glasgow. The venue was great and the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. Huge thanks also to Karolina at Zipcube who was brilliant and made the whole process very easy.
