The Library Step through the doorway and you're transported into what feels like a private members' club, complete with deep burgundy sofas and the gentle crackle of our original fireplace. We've kept the rich wood paneling that wraps around this intimate room, where vintage portraits watch over gatherings of up to 12 seated guests or 15 for drinks. Our Library works beautifully for celebration dinners, birthday parties, and those special occasions where you want somewhere a bit different. The vintage wooden chest that serves as our coffee table has sparked countless conversations, while the carefully chosen books lining the walls create that quintessentially British atmosphere our guests love. Natural light streams through the windows during daytime events, though most prefer the room in the evening when the fireplace casts its warm glow across the space. We can arrange everything from cocktail parties to sit-down dinners through our in-house catering, with menus that accommodate halal, kosher, vegan and gluten-free requirements. Our bar stays open until 2:00 AM, and we've equipped the room with Wi-Fi, projector, flipchart and PA system for those mixing business with pleasure. Just steps from South Kensington Station, our location puts you right in the heart of the museum district. The Victoria and Albert Museum and Royal Albert Hall are both within walking distance, making this an ideal spot for pre-theatre dinners or post-exhibition celebrations.
