When you book exclusive use of BAO, you're taking over a room where Michelin Bib Gourmand cooking meets the relaxed atmosphere of a Taiwanese street food stall, right in the heart of Lexington Street. Our natural wood tables and benches seat up to 30 guests banquet-style, creating an intimate setting where everyone can reach for those shared plates of Taiwanese fried chicken and pass around our signature bao. The sleek black stools along the bar area give your guests options for mingling, while the main dining space keeps everyone connected. We've kept the design deliberately simple, with clean lines and warm wood tones that let the food and conversation take centre stage. The open kitchen becomes part of your event's theatre. Your guests can watch our chefs work their magic, steam billowing as they prepare each order fresh. Those large windows flooding the room with natural light during daytime events transform into warm, glowing frames come evening, when our subtle lighting fixtures and the gentle whir of the ceiling fan create a more intimate mood.
