Two floors of Victorian railway arches await your party at SAMA Bankside, where 350 guests can spread out across 6,000 square feet of industrial celebration space. We've turned these historic arches into something special, keeping the original brickwork raw while adding bars on both levels, each with its own personality. Climb our illuminated staircase to the upper floor, where red and black bar stools line the wooden counter and natural light pours through large windows. The arched ceiling creates brilliant acoustics for DJ sets, while industrial lighting fixtures and exposed ductwork remind you you're partying in a piece of London history. This floor opens up for 300 standing guests, with reclaimed wooden floors that have hosted everything from 21st birthdays to product launches. The lower floor brings a different energy, with leather sofas, colorful cushions, and artwork that gets conversations started. Long wooden tables seat up to 170 for banquets, though most nights you'll find the space transformed for beer pong tournaments or bottomless brunches that regularly sell out. Our ground floor room has earned particular praise, with guests loving its quirky character matched with professional service that adapts to each event. We're tucked between Southwark and Blackfriars stations, making arrivals easy whether your guests travel by tube or walk across Blackfriars Bridge. Our kitchen serves British modern dishes with Caribbean influences, while both bars pour craft cocktails we've been perfecting since opening. SAMA offers a lovely cosy room on the ground floor. The setting is quirky and unusual. The service was super professional and efficient. All in all, we are super happy.
