Two Victorian railway arches transform into 6,000 square feet of possibility at SAMA Bankside on Robinson Road. We've kept the original brickwork exposed and paired it with reclaimed wooden floors that tell their own story. The artwork on our walls changes the mood from corporate meetings in the morning to birthday celebrations by night. Our upper floor opens up to 150 standing guests, with the main bar serving British modern dishes that carry a Caribbean influence. Think jerk-spiced chicken alongside craft cocktails we've been perfecting since we opened. The lower floor works differently - a separate bar area flows into a private room where board meetings happen Tuesday afternoon and engagement parties take over Saturday evening. We run bottomless brunches that regularly sell out, beer pong tournaments that get competitive, and DJ nights where commercial R&B meets house classics. The AV setup handles everything from PowerPoint presentations to party playlists, and our catering adapts from working lunches to celebration feasts. SAMA offers a lovely cosy room on the ground floor. The setting is quirky and unusual. The service was super professional and efficient. All in all, we are super happy.
