The Ji Xiang room on our mezzanine floor brings together everything we love about private dining: the right amount of space for ten guests, beautiful dark wood furnishings, and those striking original columns visible through the glass partitions. We designed this room for those moments when you need privacy but still want to feel connected to the energy of our restaurant below. Around the central table, we've placed chairs chosen specifically for long, comfortable dinners, whether you're negotiating deals over dim sum or celebrating a milestone birthday with multiple courses. The wood paneling creates an intimate feeling, while our lighting system adjusts throughout your meal, from bright for reading menus to softer tones as the evening progresses. What makes Ji Xiang particularly versatile is how the technology disappears when you don't need it. The audio-visual equipment sits behind discreet panels, ready for presentations or video calls with overseas colleagues, but completely hidden during purely social occasions. We've hosted everything from board meetings with Beijing dial-ins to extended family dinners where three generations share stories over our signature Peking duck. The glass walls offer glimpses of our Grade II-listed architecture, those soaring ceilings and restored details that make this former bank vault so distinctive. Yet the acoustic design ensures complete privacy for your conversations. Our service team accesses the room through a dedicated entrance, allowing them to refresh tea, bring courses, and attend to your needs without disrupting the flow of your gathering. Being up on the mezzanine also means you can arrive and depart with discretion, particularly useful for business entertaining. The proximity to Piccadilly and Green Park stations makes Ji Xiang easily accessible for guests coming from across London, while the St. James's location puts you minutes from both Mayfair offices and Westminster.
