We've watched countless wedding parties gasp as they cross the bridge to our Clubhouse, this two-story glass pavilion floating above the Thames on stilts. The approach sets the tone perfectly, whether your guests arrive by boat at our private pontoon or walk the illuminated bridge that connects us to shore. The space wraps you in panoramic river views through floor-to-ceiling windows, with the O2 Arena glinting to the east and Thames Barrier standing sentinel to the west. During evening celebrations, the water reflects our warm lighting back up through the glass floors, creating an almost magical atmosphere that photographs beautifully. Our wraparound balcony gives your guests extra room to spread out with their drinks, watching boats drift past as the sun sets. Inside, we configure the Clubhouse to match your vision. For weddings, we typically arrange round tables for 64 guests with space for dancing, though we can accommodate up to 120 for cocktail-style receptions. The nautical touches throughout, maritime flags and carefully chosen artifacts from our 116-year history, add character without overwhelming your own decorations. Our technical setup handles everything modern celebrations require. The built-in PA system and DJ booth mean your band or DJ can plug straight in, while our projector works brilliantly for photo montages during speeches. The bar stays open until 1am on weekends, staffed by our own team who know exactly how to keep the drinks flowing smoothly. Getting your guests here couldn't be simpler. North Greenwich station sits just a short walk away, while London Bridge is only three stops on the DLR. We have parking available, and yes, some couples do arrange Thames Clipper boats for their guests, making the journey part of the celebration. Every wedding feels different in this space, shaped by the changing light on the river and the personality each couple brings to their day.
