Our Private Dining Room sits above the main pub, transformed from what was once the landlord's quarters into a warm gathering space for up to 32 seated guests or 45 standing. The green walls showcase an eclectic collection of paintings that catch the afternoon light streaming through the large windows overlooking Notting Hill's charming streets. The centrepiece is a grand wooden table that's hosted countless celebrations over the years, surrounded by a deliberately mismatched collection of chairs that somehow work perfectly together. We've kept the original fireplace, though these days it frames candles rather than coal, and the overhead chandelier casts just the right glow for evening gatherings. The room has that lived-in feel that makes people want to linger over coffee or one more glass of wine. Being just two minutes from Notting Hill Gate station means your guests won't struggle to find us, and the separate entrance helps maintain privacy for your event. Our kitchen team, who work with local suppliers to source seasonal British ingredients, can prepare anything from formal three-course dinners to relaxed buffets or canapé selections. The Sunday roast translates beautifully for private groups, and yes, we can absolutely arrange our famous chicken, leek and tarragon pie if that's what you're after. The space adapts naturally to different occasions. Business dinners during the week feel appropriately professional, while weekend celebrations take on a more relaxed atmosphere. We've seen engagement parties spill into dancing, christening lunches that run into early evening, and leaving parties that nobody wanted to leave.
