The Lord Provost Room spans an impressive 306 square meters across our conference floor, where elegant chandeliers reflect off the patterned carpet below. Natural light pours through the large windows during daytime meetings, though we can draw the curtains for presentations when needed. We've designed this space to be completely flexible, with neutral walls that work equally well for corporate conferences or formal banquets. Our team regularly reconfigures the room to suit different needs. For theatre-style presentations, we can seat 350 delegates comfortably, while banquet rounds accommodate 280 guests. The space transforms beautifully for standing receptions too, holding up to 400 people. We also arrange boardroom setups for 110 participants or U-shaped configurations for the same number when you need everyone to see each other clearly. Classroom style works well for training sessions, fitting 180 delegates with tables. Modern A/V equipment comes as standard, including projection facilities and sound systems that reach every corner of the room. Complimentary WiFi keeps everyone connected throughout your event. The room's size means we can incorporate registration areas, breakout spaces, or exhibition stands alongside your main setup when required. Getting here couldn't be easier, with both Glasgow Central and Queen Street stations just a short walk away. Your attendees can arrive by train from across Scotland and beyond, then stroll to our venue in minutes. The city centre location puts restaurants, hotels, and attractions within easy reach for those extending their stay. We find the Lord Provost Room works particularly well for annual conferences, product launches, and large-scale training events.
