The Lavender Room catches your eye the moment you step inside, with its grand chandelier reflecting off the polished wood table that's hosted countless successful meetings over the years. We've watched this intimate space become a favourite among teams who appreciate the way natural light streams through tall windows, offering views across our landscaped gardens while you work. This room comfortably seats 20 guests around the boardroom table, though we often reconfigure it for different needs. Eight delegates in classroom style gives everyone plenty of space for training materials, while our U-shaped setup for 12 creates the perfect environment for workshops and presentations. For evening events, we transform the space completely, arranging round tables for 16 in cabaret style or clearing the floor for drinks receptions hosting up to 25 guests. The intricate moldings and ornate wall designs tell the story of our Victorian heritage, yet we've integrated all the technology you need for modern meetings. Our projector and flatscreen TV connect seamlessly to your devices, while the flipchart stands ready for brainstorming sessions. The dimmable lighting lets you adjust the atmosphere throughout the day, from bright morning presentations to more relaxed afternoon discussions. What makes the Lavender Room particularly versatile is its connection to both the Lilac Room and our Ballroom. Corporate groups often use it as a breakout space during larger conferences, while wedding parties gather here for pre-ceremony preparations. Our kitchen team delivers everything from working lunches to formal dinners directly to the room, with menus accommodating halal, kosher, vegan and gluten-free requirements. Air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round, and with free parking just steps away plus our location between Kingston upon Thames and southwest London, your guests will find us easily accessible.
