The County Room truly comes into its own when filled with people. We've hosted everything from intimate board meetings to bustling wedding receptions in this space, and its high ceilings and grand chandelier never fail to make an impression. The room comfortably seats 100 for theatre-style presentations, though we can arrange for up to 150 guests when you need standing reception space. Walking into the County Room, you'll notice how the deep burgundy chairs complement the striped carpet, creating a professional yet welcoming atmosphere. We've equipped the space with a projector and screen, so your presentations run smoothly without any technical hiccups. The large mirror along one wall catches the light from our chandelier, making the room feel even more spacious than its already generous proportions. For corporate events, we typically arrange the room in various configurations: theatre style for 100, classroom layout for 32, or cabaret style for 64 delegates. The U-shaped setup works particularly well for training sessions with up to 32 participants. When you need breakout space, we have an adjoining area perfect for refreshments and informal networking. The room transforms beautifully for social gatherings. We can set up our private bar and clear space for dancing, turning what was a morning conference venue into an evening celebration space. For formal dinners, we arrange banquet seating for up to 100 guests, with our events team coordinating every detail from table settings to timing. You'll find the County Room at the rear of our venue on the ground floor, making it easily accessible for all guests. The self-regulated climate control keeps everyone comfortable regardless of the season or group size.
