Our fifth-floor Heights room puts Edinburgh Castle right at your fingertips. From up here, the fortress dominates every window, and we've arranged the space so everyone gets that view, whether they're presenting quarterly figures or signing contracts. The room handles 100 people theatre-style, though most of our meetings run smaller. For boardroom setups, we fit 35 around the table comfortably, with everyone able to see both the screen and the castle. When teams need workshop space, we configure cabaret-style for 60, giving each table room to spread out laptops and papers while maintaining clear sightlines to the front. Floor-to-ceiling windows run the length of the room, which means morning sessions get flooded with natural light, no overhead fluorescents needed until late afternoon. The balcony access proves useful during coffee breaks, giving people fresh air and a closer castle view while they make calls or decompress between sessions. We've kept the décor simple: neutral walls, modern carpeting that absorbs sound well, and furniture that moves easily when you need to reconfigure mid-day. The AV setup includes built-in screens positioned so they don't compete with the windows, wireless presentation capabilities, and microphones that actually pick up voices from every seat. Most groups book full-day packages here, using our catering for working lunches served in the room. The contemporary design photographs well for company updates, and yes, every visiting executive wants their photo with the castle backdrop. Between sessions, attendees often head down to use the pool or gym, especially during multi-day conferences. Getting here involves a short walk from Waverley Station or a quick taxi from the airport. We're tucked into the Grassmarket area, surrounded by restaurants and pubs for evening team dinners. The £20 daily parking sorts one major Edinburgh headache.
