Our Wife of Bath meeting room takes its name from Chaucer's famous character, and like her, this space has plenty of stories to tell. Up on the first floor of our medieval building, you'll find a room where daylight streams through the windows, illuminating the polished wooden table that forms the centerpiece of this professional space. We've designed this room to adapt to your needs. For board meetings, we arrange comfortable plush chairs around the table for 16 delegates, creating an environment where important decisions feel at home. Need to present to a larger group? We can set up theatre-style seating for 30 people, with our projector and screen ready to display your materials. For training sessions, we configure the room in classroom style for 8 participants, while U-shaped layouts work perfectly for interactive workshops with 10 attendees. The neutral walls and carefully chosen artwork create a calm backdrop that keeps everyone focused on the task at hand. Our location within Canterbury's ancient city walls means you're working in a building with genuine 12th century foundations, though we've ensured all the modern technology you need is seamlessly integrated. The projector and screen come as standard, ready whenever you need them. Being on the first floor does mean we cannot provide disabled access to this particular room, something we want you to know when planning your event. However, the climb up our historic staircase rewards you with a bright, welcoming space that previous guests have found conducive to productive meetings. Just minutes from Canterbury Cathedral and well-connected to transport links, our venue makes it easy for your delegates to reach us and explore the historic city center during breaks.
